Here’s the latest goings on with Hockey Talk Radio NEWS…
Hockey Talk Radio scheduling…
I get a lot of requests for our latest Hockey Talk Radio programming schedule, to which I always have to apologize — at least for now.
It escapes me why Radionomy (the company that makes our broadcasting possible) doesn’t provide us a way to copy a schedule and then publish it. That’s the case, however.
None of the above suggests that I won’t stop trying — you can trust me on that one. In the meantime, I try to keep getting the word out that: 1) all our instructional type shows run all day and into the early evening hours (from about 9am to 9pm EST), while 2) all our more adult oriented NHL fan based shows run later (from about 9pm and into the wee hours).
Just so listeners (and potential new show hosts) know…
It’s possible that I’ll keep calling for new podcasters for many years to come. That doesn’t mean we’re not already full — or close to full.
Right from Day One, I’ve had about 15 or more great show hosts. What does happen, however, is that some find it difficult to keep up with Hockey Talk Radio’s weekly programming schedule, while some find it hard to meet Radionomy’s stringent audio needs. I understand that where we’re going with Hockey Talk Radio isn’t for everyone, but it is going to be awesome for some.
Little by little, we’re getting more shows that promise to be with Hockey Talk Radio for years into the future. (If you’re interested in creating your own show, scan my page about creating your own show for a little more info.)
A Hockey Diary post you really should read — about “Why You Have To Podcast”…
I linked the following post from my Hockey Diary in a recent NEWS story, and I feel it worthy of mentioning again… “Why You Have To Podcast” actually explores how big time celebrities now take advantage of certain media, and how even your local gardener, attorney, financial planner and others do, too. Yes, they’re using the media, and you’re quite likely to be left behind — no matter what field you’re into, if you don’t read this article.
A Really AWESOME update…
Here’s another repeat…
The latest awesome news is about our ability to share a Hockey Talk Radio player on the blogs and websites of our friends. In other words, I can now share a special code with a reputable hockey site, and our station will play right there, at the push of a button.
I’ve done that on both CoachChic.com and my Hockey Diary, just to show how it looks and works, and I’ve more recently helped some of our Hockey Talk Radio show hosts place a player on their websites.
We know blog visitors will enjoy quick access to Hockey Talk Radio, but I want to do more than that. So I plan on promoting participating blogs or sites, here on this site, and to my 18,000+ social media contacts.
The techie side of this is easy-peasy: I give you the code, and you just paste it in to where you want the player to appear. That’s it! And if you have any problems, I’ll be available to help.
